Our Vanishing Summer
A downloadable game for Windows and macOS
Content warning: The story of Our Vanishing Summer involves the death of a child. It happens before the main events of the game and is never shown.

In Our Vanishing Summer, you play as a kid at the end of summer: School has started back up, but you still find time to play and chat with your friends, and to pursue your passion, collecting rocks. These days, you’re actually looking for a rock to leave at the grave of your classmate who died tragically only a week ago.

GAMEPLAY
- Collect Rocks - And pick up flowers, and shells, and sticks, and shovels, and candies. But you're obsessed with rocks, particularly sparkly ones that are tucked away in hard to find or hard to reach places.

- Explore your town! - As a kid, you can't always go everywhere you want, but as you pass the time around town, you may stumble across hidden forest paths or mysterious clearings!
- Dig, thwack bushes, throw rocks at trees etc. You never know what may come of it!

- Read your friends' statuses! - When you get close to another kid, you’ll be able to read the status that they’ve set on their "Happy", the little devices you all carry around. They'll update them throughout the day, so be sure to track down your favorite friends whenever you have some free time.
- React with stickers - Express yourself by pasting stickers onto statuses! You'll get a sticker reaction right back, and you can claim that new sticker for your own library.
- Build friendships - There are plenty of ways to become better friends with the other kids in town! Maybe if you use just the right sticker, or give just the right gift... and who knows what else you could do!
